Recruitment of Guest Faculty in the Department of Botany

Applications in the prescribed form as applicable to the recruitment of Guest Faculty in North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, are invited for the following positions in the Department of Botany, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. The completed applications with photocopies of certificates should reach the office of the undersigned latest by 10th August, 2017. The specifications and qualifications for the positions are as follows:

Minimum Qualifications: As per UGC norms.

1. Genetics and Plant Breeding
2. Ecology, Biodiversity, Plant Taxonomy
3. Microbiology, Mycology, Plant Pathology
4. Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology
5. Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Plant Reproductive Biology

The qualifications shall be same as per UGC Notification 2010 for the recruitment of faculty at the level of Assistant Professor. The salary and the selection process will be as per UGC/NEHU norms.

The candidates screened shall be interviewed on August 17, 2017 at 11.00 am in the Chamber of the Head, Department of Botany, NEHU, Shillong.
