Applications are invited for the post of Traineeships and Studentships in the DBT sponsored Bioinformatics Centre, North-Eastern Hill University. The Posts are purely temporary and the candidates will be selected for 3 months initially and the offer will extended for another 3 months based on performance. The person engaged, shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for permanent absorption in the University. 

Positions: Traineeships Students who have completed M.Sc/M.Tech or B.TECH in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Biotechnology to carry out Bioinformatics related project work.

Desirable: Prior knowledge of computer programming languages and Bioinformatics tools/databases etc. Stipend: Rs.8,000/- per month fixed.
