NEHU Observes Anti-Terrorism Day

NEHU observed Anti-Terrorism Day with the reading of the pledge by NEHU authorities, teachers, students and staff, in front of the V.C's office, Administrative building on May 20.

All over India, May 21st is observed as Anti Terrorism Day in memory of former Indian Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, who in the year 1991, was brutally killed by terrorist attacks.

This day is also aimed in bringing awareness in the country among all sections of people, regarding dangers of terrorism, violence and its effect on people, society and nation as a whole.
