Brief Profile: 

Juwesh Binong is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong. His research interests are in the general area of artificial intelligence and its applications. He received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, in 1999. He later obtained his M.Sc. degree in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University in 2007, and his Ph.D degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Tezpur University in 2017. He started his journey as a Technical Assistant (on contract) in the Regional Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre (presently SAIF) at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) in 2000, and later he joined the teaching profession at NEHU, Shillong, in July 2006 as a Lecturer in the Department of ECE.
