Walk in interview for posts of JRF and RA in a DBT, Govt. of India sponsored research project in Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics

A walk in interview will be held on 17/08/2018 at 2.00 PM at the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong for one post of JRF and one post of RA in a DBT, Govt. of India sponsored research project on “Integrating Herbal Medicine Of NER With Contemporary Approaches To Develop Therapeutic Strategies For Metabolic Syndrome”. Interested candidates are to bring along all originals and one photocopy of all marksheets, certificates and testimonials in support of candidature during the interview. 

1. Research Associate (RA-I)
Number of vacancy: 1 (One) Project duration: 1
Year Emolument: As per the norms of DBT GOI
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/Botany/ Zoology/ Biochemistry
Desirable: Minimum 4 years of research experience with relevant publications

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of vacancies: 1(One)
Project duration: 1 Year
Emolument: As per the norms of DBT GOI
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Botany/ Zoology/ Biochemistry

• Kindly note that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview and the above post is coterminus with project
