Revised categorization of guests staying in the Guest Houses of the University

In continuation of the Notification conveyed vide No. 11-15/GHC/Vol.2/2014-1487 dt. 8.5.: 018. the University pleased to revise the categorization of guests staying in the Guest Houses of the University as follows.

  Category Purpose Booking done by Payment to be made
1 Category-1 For attending meetings like Executive Council/Academic Council/Court meeting/ Finance Committee meeting etc, of NEHU Booking approved by Vice Chancellor/Pro Vice Chancellor/Registrar Exempted from payment
2 Category-2 Coming for official works of NEHU like Seminar/ Conference/different meetings of the Schools/Depart- moron/Centres etc. Deans of Schools/Heads of Departments/Centres Organisers of Seminar /Conferences/meetings through Administration Payment to be made by the Organisers of such events/ Guests.
3 Category-3 Private affairs of NEHU employees/students/teachers/officers/pensioners. Request sent by employees/ pensioners/students through Administration. Payment to be made by the guests.
4 Category-4 For attending official/private functions/events of organisations other than NEHU Booking done by organisers of such events/functions/ meetings, etc through Administration. Payment to be made by the guests.

This order will come into force with immediate effect.

This issues with the approval of thc competent authority.
