In continuation of the Notification conveyed vide No. 11-15/GHC/Vol.2/2014-1487 dt. 8.5.: 018. the University pleased to revise the categorization of guests staying in the Guest Houses of the University as follows.

1 | Category-1 | For attending meetings like Executive Council/Academic Council/Court meeting/ Finance Committee meeting etc, of NEHU | Booking approved by Vice Chancellor/Pro Vice Chancellor/Registrar | Exempted from payment |
2 | Category-2 | Coming for official works of NEHU like Seminar/ Conference/different meetings of the Schools/Department s/Centres etc. | Deans of Schools/Heads of Departments/Centres Organisers of Seminar /Conferences/meetings through Administration | Payment to be made by the Organisers of such events/ Guests. |
3 | Category-3 | Private affairs of NEHU employees/students/teachers/officers/pensioners. | Request sent by employees/ pensioners/students through Administration. | Payment to be made by the guests. |
4 | Category-4 | For attending official/private functions/events of organisations other than NEHU | Booking done by organisers of such events/functions/ meetings, etc through Administration. | Payment to be made by the guests. |
This order will come into force with immediate effect.
