  • Was awarded Lifetime Achievement award at the 18th National Poetry Convention held on 26th October, 2018 at Bidar, Karnataka for an exemplary contribution in the field of Education and Literature.
  • Was awarded an Award of Honour for an exemplary contribution to Poetry, Drama and Khasi Culture by the Association for Asian Culture and Literature in its International conference on "South Asian Culture and Literature Summit 2019" held on 28th March 2019 at Jahingarabad, Bangladesh.
