MoU was signed by The Vice-Chancellor of NEHU and Professor Bundhit Eua-arporm, the President of the Chulalongkorn University (CU), Bangkok


On 10th January, 2019 Professor S.K. Srivastava, the Vice-Chancellor of NEHU, Shillong and Professor Bundhit Eua-arporm, the President of the Chulalongkorn University (CU), Bangkok signed an MoU in the presence of His Excellency Chutintorn Gongsakdi, the Ambassador of Thailand to India and his counterpart Her Excellency Suchitra Durai, the Ambassaador of India to Thailand, Associate Professor Apisak Dhiravisit, Deputy Director of the Thailand Research Fund, members of the delegation from NEHU and a host of dignitaries. NEHUNSA Sports Meet Kicks off


The Sports Meet of the North-Eastern Hill University Non-Teaching Association kicked off on November 22, 2018 at the Basket Ball court, NEHU Shillong Campus in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Finance Officer, University  Engineer and Association members. Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Observed in NEHU


As per the guidelines from the Ministry of Human Resources to promote national integration and develop excellence in different fields, the North-Eastern Hill University kicked off the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme with an inaugural ceremony on November 16, 2018 at the Multi-Use Convention Hall in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and other dignitaries. Valedictory Function of Refresher Course in Political Science,on State and Globalization, held on 10th November 2018 at 12 noon, NEHU Shillong


The Dept of Political Science, North-Eastern University, Shillong  alongwith HRDC NEHU successfully completed organizing the three weeks long Refresher Course  in Political Science, on State and Globalization, which began from October 22nd, 2018,which saw active participation of  thirty eight Asst Profs from various universities and colleges of  different parts of North Eastern India region as per UGC mandate, selected out of sixty nine applicants for the course. NEHU organises Run For Unity on 31st October, 2018


North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) organized  the event of RUN FOR UNITY on 31st October, 2018 to mark the day as RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS (National Unity Day) commemorating the 143rd Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the iron-man and the first Home Minister of Independent India.  The Vice Chancellor flagged off the RUN at 7.50 a.m. The RUN followed the route from the Gate No. 5 of the NEHU Campus to the Administrative Block via the adjacent village, Mawkynron, outside the NEHU Campus and covering nearly 3-4 km length of the run for different categories.  A large number of students and…

The North-Eastern Hill University organised a programme to commemorate the ‘Surgical Strike Day’ on September 29, 2018 at 2 pm at the Multi-Use Convention Centre. Brigadier William J.B. Dr. Bertrand de Hartingh, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs and Country Director of Institut Français, New Delhi along with a team of six officials visited the North-Eastern Hill University on May 11 morning to propose a new partnership between India and France with regards to higher education.
