The primary objective of this facility is to promote biology teaching through bioinformatics (BTBI). The goal of this scheme is to expose teachers and students to real-world of science and the use of bioinformatics (Cyber bioscience) in solving hard core biological problem. It also periodically organizes hands-on trainings on various aspects of application of bioinformatics tools and molecular techniques in biological research.

The Department of Rural development and Agricultural Production is a multidisciplinary science which includes rural development, agronomy, horticulture and animal science. The department is actively engaged in the research activities on different issue like rural and social development, horticulture, agronomy, livestock management, environment and life sciences, bio-technology and food security, local governance etc.
