A Walk-in-interview for the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sponsored Research project will be conducted in the office of the Head, Department of Biomedical Engineering, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong-793022, Meghalaya on 16/3/18 from 11 AM onwards to select the candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

The details of qualifications, salary and other terms and conditions of the project would be as per DBT norms mentioned as follows:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
No. of posts: One (01)
Qualification & Experience: M.E./M.Tech in BME/ECE/IT/Instr/ relevant field or B.E./B.Tech in above fields with NET qualification with 2 years working experience.
Salary: Rs. 25, 000/- + 20% HRA for the 1st two years and Rs.28, 000/- + 20% HRA for the 3rd year. The emoluments would be as per NEHU norms and co-terminus with project duration.
{Note: JRF without NET qualification would be entitled for Rs.12, 000/- + 20% HRA for the 1st & 2nd years and Rs.14, 000/- + 20% HRA for the 3rd year as SRF}.
Location: NEHU, Shillong and project implementation site
Eligible candidates shall produce original certificates along with one set of attested copies (for submission), recent photograph and a copy of latest bio-data at the time of interview. The application with CV and passport size recent photograph should be sent at the above email id in advance latest by 15/03/18, failing which their application will not be considered. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The selection committee may not fill above posts if suitable candidates are not found. No queries in this regard would be entertained.
