Walk-in interview for recruitment of Guest Faculty in the Department of Botany

A Walk-in interview for recruitment of Guest Faculty for the following positions in the Department of Botany, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong shall be held on 8th February, 2019 at 11.00 a.m.

The specializations and qualifications for the positions are as follows: 

No. of Guest Faculty Positions available : upto 6 (six)

Minimum Qualifications: As per UGC norms. Desirable Specializations:

1. Genetics and Plant Breeding
2. Ecology, Biodiversity, Plant Taxonomy
3. Microbiology, Mycology, Plant Pathology
4. Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology S. Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Plant Reproductive Biology
5. Plant Anatomy 

The qualifications shall be same as per UGC Notification 2010 for the recruitment of faculty at the level of Assistant Professor. The salary and the selection process will be as per UGC/NEHU norms. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. The candidates shall bring with them one-page CV, and their certificates, testimonials, publications etc. in original at the time of interview.
