Holiday Notice in view of the death of Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee

In view of the national news which announced the death of our Honorable Former Prime Minister of India, Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Delhi on the 16th August, 2018; after his prolonged illness; the University community of the North-Eastern Hill University has expressed shock and grief over his demise, who has been one of the great and prominent leaders of our country India.

As a marked of respect and mourning of Shri. Vajpayee's death; the University has declared a Full Day Holiday on the 17th August, 2018 (Friday), with a flag to be flown at half-mast till the 22nd August, 2018.

This has the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
