2^nd Webinar on “National Education Policy, 2020: Towards an Equitable and Inclusive Society”

The Second Webinar of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Webinar Series on “NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY, 2020: TOWARDS AN EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY” was organised jointly by NEHU, Tura Campus, India and ICSSR-NERC, Shillong, India on 8^th November, 2021. Chief Guest Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla, Honorable Vice- Chancellor, North- Eastern Hill University, Meghalaya shared his thoughts and insights about NEP 2020 with the participants. Guest of Honour and Keynote speaker, Dr. S. K. Kashyap, Professor & Dean, College of Agriculture, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar deliberated on innovative ways towards successful implementation of NEP 2020. Resource Person Dr. Deepak L. Waikar, Founder and Managing Partner of EduEnergy, Singapore attempted to relate NEP 2020 with project based learning. Prof. G. Singaiah, Campus-in-Charge, NEHU, Tura Campus gave the welcome address. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Deepak Bhagat, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, NEHU, Tura Campus and Coordinator of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Webinar Series”. The webinar saw attendance of numbers of participants from different educational institutes of India.
