Non-Teaching Residential Community organized a Get -Together-cum-cultural Evening

A Get -Together cum cultural evening program with a theme “Unity in Diversity” was organized by Non - Teaching Residential Community at Multi - Use Convention Hall, NEHU on 9^th November, 2019. The occasion was graced by Mr. Teibor Pathaw, Local MDC, Mawlai, East Khasi Hills District and Mr. M B Tongper, ADM, East Khasi Hills, who attended the Get-Together as the Chief Guest and Guest of honour respectively along with Dr. Wandondor R Synrem, President, NEHUNSA, Mr. L M K Lyngrah, Finance Officer, NEHU, Shillong, Dr. Jay Narayan Nayak, Registrar, NEHU, Shillong as special invitees. The purpose of the programme was to encourage the employees and their family members for cluster cleanliness, academic excellence and extraordinary achievements in Sports, Music, dances and other activities. In conglomerates of this function prizes were distributed to children of the employee who excel in their academics and other extra-curricular activities.  Awards and appreciation prizes were also given to the residents for cleanliness in cluster quarters and involvement in the social work amongst the community.
