  • Organized national seminar on ‘New Arenas of Biological Anthropology in India’ in the Department of Anthropology, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong from 19th till 21st November, 2014. 

Research Experience:     

  • Conducted research on various aspects of quantitative genetics and physiological measures on the Santhals of Bankura district of West Bengal from 2001-2006 (5 years) during the Ph.D. programme.
  • Carried out research on the cardiovascular, pulmonary and genetic adaptation to high altitude hypoxia among the Monpas of Tawang district, Arunachal Pradesh from May until July, 2016.
