THE TOPIC OF  MY M. Sc. THESIS

“Studies on method of processing and storage life of beverages of Litchi (Litchi chinensis  Sonn.).” The experiment was carried out under laboratory condition, Post Harvest Technology Lab, Main Campus, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, NDUA&T, Kumarganj, Faizabad, U.P. The work undertaken in the thesis involved processing of a national Litchi variety as “Calcuttia” in order to avail the information on its storage life of beverages in laboratory conditions.

The experiment was conducted under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Ivi Chakraborty, Reader, Deptt. of Post Harvest Technology of Horticultural Crops, F/ Horticulture,  Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Mohanpur, Nadia West Bengal.

            The experiment was carried out under laboratory condition, Post Harvest Technology Lab, Agricultural Research Complex, Directorate of research, Kalyani, Nadia, W.B. The work undertaken in the thesis involved processing of a Palmyra palm and Passion fruit in order to avail the information on its storage life of Products in laboratory conditions.

Worked as a Research Associate in the Project entitled “Maintenance of live repository for fruit trees and medicinal plant varieties under in-situ collection for eastern India eco-system.” Sponsored by PPV & FRA, Govt. of India, from 14th September 2009 to 1st August- 2010 under the supervision of Dr. R. P. Singh, as P. I. of the project, DSF, BAU,  Kanke, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
