Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Webinar Series on “NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY, 2020: TOWARDS AN EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY” organised jointly by NEHU, Tura Campus, India and ICSSR-NERC, Shillong, India was inaugurated on 2^nd October, 2021. Chief Guest Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla, Honorable Vice- Chancellor, North- Eastern Hill University, Meghalaya shared his NEP 2020 vision with the participants. Guest of Honour and Keynote speaker, Prof. Saket Kushwaha, Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh shared his thought towards successful implementation of NEP 2020. Resource Person Prof. T. Mrunalini, IASE, Department of Education, Osmania University, Telangana attempted to relate NEP 2020 with Gandhian philosophy. Prof. G. Singaiah, Campus-in-Charge, NEHU, Tura Campus gave the welcome address and Prof. B. Panda, Honorary Director, ICSSR-NERC, Shillong spoke on the rationale behind this webinar series. The webinar was moderated by Prof. C. A. Mawlong, Head, Department of History and former Dean, School of Social Sciences, North- Eastern Hill University, Shillong. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Deepak Bhagat, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, NEHU, Tura Campus and Coordinator of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Webinar Series”.
