The North-Eastern Hill University fraternity comprising of the faculty and non-teaching staff led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. P.S. Shukla took the Integrity Pledge as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week which starts from 26th October to 3rd November, 2021 with the theme "lndependent lndia @ 75: Self Reliance with integrity". Other dignitaries include the Registrar, Finance Officer and the Chief Vigilance Officer.
Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) every year during the last week of October is taken up to encourage all stakeholders to collectively participate in the prevention of, and the fight against corruption and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, causes and gravity of and the threat posed by corruption.
