Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla, Vice-Chancellor today (20.09.22) inaugurated newly constructed buildings at NEHU, Tura Campus in the presence of Prof. S. Gurudev, Campus Incharge, NEHU, Tura, the teaching and non- teaching staff of the Tura campus. The buildings inaugurated consisted of 19 numbers of residential quarters for Professors, 4 nos of quarters for Group D employees and 2 numbers of quarters for the hostel wardens. Besides the residential buildings, a computer centre with facilities of 100 computer systems was also inaugurated which will cater to needs of the people of Garo Hills and aid the testing agencies in the conducting various national level tests. The Vice-Chancellor said that the inauguration of these buildings is only the beginning of other developmental works to be seen in NEHU in the next two three years as many more infrastructural development works will be started in 2-3 years. The Vice-Chancellor also mentioned that the development of all campuses of NEHU is important and he has made his goal to give importance to all the campuses.
