The School of Technology conducts the Research Week 2023 program

The School of Technology is conducting the Research Week 2023 program under the coordination of Dr. Sudip Paul, Assistant Professor and Teacher-In charge, Department of Biomedical Engineering, NEHU, Shillong. The program commenced on 10th July 2023 until 14th July 2023 and is held in the IT seminar Room, NEHU, Shillong. Prof. Md. Iftekhar Hussain, Dean, School of Technology, NEHU, Shillong, officially inaugurated the program. The program started with a very motivating speech by the Dean, SoT, NEHU, explaining the importance of Research Week, 2023. The program moved forward with the presentation of the research work by the Ph.D. scholars in the online and offline mode from the different departments under the School of Technology, NEHU, Shillong, and also from Tura Campus, NEHU, Shillong. Around 50-60 research scholars have presented their research work and publications.

It is a unique program organized by the SoT, NEHU, Shillong for the first time, which will help in knowledge sharing among Ph.D. students of different departments. Also, the various departments' faculty members have valuable suggestions for improving the ongoing work. It has also opened up the opportunity for future collaboration among the departments for research works and projects.
