Drawing Competition on Yoga held in the Meghalaya Hall, K.V. NEHU, Shillong

The North-Eastern Hill University Yoga Committee Shillong, Meghalaya organize a ‘Drawing Competition on Yoga’ for the students of the Kendriya Vidyalaya, NEHU, Shillong on the 8th August 2023 in the Meghalaya Hall, K.V. NEHU, Shillong.

The students were divided into three categories class I to class V- category-I, class VI to class VIII- category-II and Class IX to Class XII-category-III. The total duration of the competition was one hour. All together 128 numbers of participants were took part in the competition. Shri Swapan Kumar Nath, TGT (ART Education) act as an examiner for the said competition.

The Competition was ended with a presentation ceremony, where Prof. D. K. Choubey, Chairman, NEHU Yoga Committee was graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Shri Abhisek Kumar, Principal In-charge, Kendriya Vidyalaya, NEHU was present as the Guest of Honour and Shri N. Das, Asst. Director (PE & Sports) cum Convener of the NEHU Yoga Committee were present among others along with some teachers of the KV, NEHU.

The winners of the competition were awarded with mementoes along with some consolation prizes to others. Every winner & participant was awarded with participation certificate. Light refreshments were arranged for every participant.
