The Department of Architecture, NEHU organised an interaction session for the students studying Masters in Architecture at Taubman College, University of Michigan, USA with professors from NEHU and researchers at the Office of International Affairs on 30th of May 2025. The students are on a two-week field study of Meghalaya along with their course faculty Juhi Pandey and Ayaz Basrai. Their main subject of study is the living root bridges of Meghalaya, travelling to places and sites with the importance of ecology and craft. The main objective is for the students to learn about built natural architecture in the context of culture, ecology and craft.
