A team of students from NEHU (Ms Namrata Sarma- Department of English and Mr Martin Warjri- Department of law accompanied by Dr Chandrakanta- Department of Geography) participated in a two days National Inter-University Debate Competiton. The Sat Paul Mittal National Inter-University Debate Competition was organised by the Indian Association of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (IAPPD), New Delhi, aiming to foster intellectual discourse and promote effective communication skills among the youth.
Ms Namrata’s (Department of English-NEHU) exceptional oratory skills earned her consolation prize this year, further showcasing NEHU’s prowess in the realm of eloquence and critical thinking. Led by the astute guidance of Dr. Chandrakanta from the Department of Geography, as the teacher in charge, the team showcased outstanding debating finesse, impressing both judges and spectators alike. Overall, all team members would like to thank NEHU for all the support, and a special thanks to DSW sir, and esteemed PVC Sir.
