NEHU organized a cleaning drive under the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan"

On 8^th JUNE 2026, under “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” NEHU organized a cleaning drive at Sohlang stream, Mawlai area (Shillong). The students from NSS unit- NEHU and Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan volunteers and other hostellers of NEHU contributed to make this event successful. Sohlang is an important stream for this area as it supply drinking water to the surrounding locality and its conservation is crucial. Under the guidance of Prof Prof. Marco Babit Mitri (Nodal officer- Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” NEHU) and DR Chandrakanta (CO-nodal officer- Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” NEHU) this activity was organised.
