Post of SRF in a DBT-funded Research Project

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow- SRF (one) to be appointed in a DBT-funded major research project entitled “Deciphering the molecular mechanisms governing the direct Aβ aggregation inhibition with the serum protein transferrin: Implications for Alzheimer’s disease” sanctioned to Dr. Timir Tripathi, Molecular and Structural Biophysics Laboratory, Department of Biochemistry, NEHU, Shillong.

Stipend: As per GOI rules. Rs 28,000/- + HRA (for candidates with NET or equivalent) or Rs 14,000/- + HRA (for candidates without NET) per month.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. or equivalent in life sciences (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/Botany/Zoology etc) with two years research experience and a good academic record. Experience in Molecular biology/biophysics is desirable.
