NEHU, Tura campus adopts Villages

Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, NEHU attends the Village Adoption Programme of the "Honey Village" and Bee Keeping Input Distribution (1st Village Adoption Prog of the day) at Gambegre C&RD Block, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya by NEHU, Tura Campus. The programme was organised by Incubation Centre, NEHU, Tura campus and DCIC, Tura for villagers cum bee farmers who produce one of the finest honey in the world. The project is sponsored by ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management (NIBSM), Raipur. The programme was attended by Prof. P.S. Shukla, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, NEHU, Prof. Sujata Gurudev, Campus-In-Charge, NEHU, Tura Campus, BDO, Gambegre, Dr Sashi Kumar, Nodal Officer, Incubation Centre, NEHU, Tura Campus, officials from DCIC, Tura and bee farmers of the villages
