M Phil Comparative literature - “Looking through Literatures: A study of Dravidian movement and politics.” A dissertation that attempts to understand the subtle connections between the Dravidian politics and the art forms like cinema and Literature and thereby looks at literary responses from Tamil literature as a critique of Dravidian movement. Completed in October 2010.
PhD Comparative Literature – “Making of Tamizhan-Print World and The Emergence of Parayar Consciousness- A Study of Iyothee Thass Writings.” A thesis that looks at partly a history of a print magazine published in the beginning of early twentieth century in Colonial south India and about the political engagement of a particular community with print modernity.
