Ph.D. thesis title: Dietary and hormonal modulation of acetylcholinesterase in mice as a function of age
Research Specialization: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Endocrinology
Research interest:
Our research aims to shed light on the changes in cellular and molecular pathways underpinning the aging process. We strive to use this knowledge to translate and develop novel therapeutic strategies to treat/ameliorate age-associated diseases. By posing fundamental questions about differences in rates and risks for pathological conditions associated with aging, we employ Caenorhabditis elegans model organism, cell-based assays, and rodents for various in vitro and in vivo experimentations.
