Administrative responsibilities undertaken:

  • Served as the Department Head, i/c from 2008-2011 and took charge of Head whenever regular Head is on leave or as when required;
  • Warden, One of the Girls’ Hostel, NEHU, Tura Campus since 2017;
  • Served as PVC i/c when required;
  • Served as Deputy Registrar (DR) when required

Academic affiliations:

  1. Performed all the duties assigned by the University as a member of Board of Under-Graduate Studies in Garo, Board of Studies in Garo, School Board of Humanities, Academic Council (NEHU), Board of Research Studies. Member of Internal Complaint Cell, Tura Campus
  2. Conducted seminars, workshops and UGC sponsored Refresher Courses as HOD and assisted as a faculty in conducting seminars, workshops, conferences etc. Also served the University in all its co-curricular programmes.
  3. Member of Library Committee, Purchase Committee, Campus Beautification and Development Committee, Covid-19 Management Committee etc., Chairperson Hostel Management Committee of NEHU-Tura Campus.
  4. Conducted Students’ Elections
  5. Acted as a Counselor to the Students whenever required
  6. Visited many other NEHU affiliated colleges in Garo Hills as a member of inspection team, and as an External Invigilator during exams apart from serving as member of the Governing Body of some colleges such as Durama College, Don Bosco B.Ed. College, Tura (West Garo Hills), Mendipathar College (North Garo Hills) and A·cheng Rangmanpa College (South West Garo Hills), etc.
  7. Helped students in study tours, field studies within and outside the State, apart from classroom lectures and other learning activities.
