Circular regarding procurement of items by Academic Departments and Administration

With regard to procurement of items by Academic Departments and Administration, it is for general information of all concerned that all departmental purchase from the current financial year, i.e. 2018-19, may be initiated immediately, so that all the required formalities such as, Departmental Purchase Committee (DPC) meeting, financial concurrence, issue of supply order, etc. could be completed before 21.12.2018 i.e. before the Winter vacation starts, so that supply will occur in February, 2019 when all the Departments re-opens and final bills could be submitted to Finance on or before 10.03.2019.
