Guided a six month research project for under graduate students (Mr Ayush Malviya, Mr Ejajul Ansari, Mr Harish Kumar and Mr Phunsukh Dorjay) on “Tracing Emotions and Migration among Construction Workers : Evidences from the Field” which was also presented at national youth conclave on  Domains of Emotional Geography: Environment, Culture and Society held in 2022 organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.

• In 2023 Nominated Dr. P. R. Bhave Memorial prize for the best article written on “Analyzing the possibilities and prospects of 24/7 water supply in Delhi, India” which was published in January – March 2023 issue of IWWA Journal.
• Satpaul Mittal Award from Indian Association of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (IAPPD) in 2008 for research on population issues.

• United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) grant in 2010 (travel grant to Paris- France).
